I tried to buy buy Monitor Audio GX 300 for 3990 CHF from BestPriceAudioVideo. I transferred the money on 24 of January 2013, with estimated delivery in the second half of February 2013, and did not receive neither the speakers nor money back despite many promises.

I found this store via toppreise.ch, whom I already asked for intervention. Bestprice-audiovideo had no remorse to also mislead toppreise.ch that I would get a refund within a week, which did not happen. Toppreise.ch finally removed the store from its website early June 2013 until my money is refunded. This has not happened so far either.

I know my only way to get the money is if they found a naive customer who will want to buy a lot more expensive item from them - like Monitor Audio Platinum.

Buy I rather be honest than let BestPriceAudioVideo mislead others. Better give money to poor people in Africa than to BestPriceAudioVideo. Even if it means I will get nothing back. BestPriceAudioVideo asked me many details on the phone on what I do - and they know I am busy expat not speaking French and living in Geneva. But if they took money from me for nothing - I hope I am the last one.

And please DONT trus Swiss online stores. As BestPriceAudioVideo shows people cheat everywhere, also in Switzerland.

If you are interested, here is a bit more details on my story. I transferred the money on 24 of January 2013 (See attached), with estimated delivery in the second half of February 2013. Since then every few weeks the delivery was postponed by another 2 weeks. I was writing emails, while Bestprice-audiovideo usually was calling back. However, I gave the supplier final delivery deadline or requested money return, providing all bank details. Bestprice-audiovideo first ignored my requests and later claimed that the loudspeakers were ready to be delivered in Switzerland. We arranged (after another delay) delivery date of May 8, 2013. My wife spent almost the whole day waiting for the delivery which never came. Bestprice-audiovideo claimed their supplier had Monitor Audio GX 300 in Switzerland but failed to deliver, and Bestprice-audiovideo promised money refund.

On May 20th no money arrived either, but instead Bestprice-audiovideo promised the money would come latest by the end of May 2013.

On May 24th I requested that Bestprice-audiovideo to send to me bank transfer proof right after the money transfer – silence since then. Instead they mislead toppreise.ch who finally removed them from their service.
